5:50 pm	Blackjack I went to the Blackjack Festival on Saturday night The bands were as follows Mötley Crüe Mötorhead The Living End The Casanovas Fireballs Day of the Dead All I can say is..........Motorhead are Awesome My ears are ringing and my neck is sore (I am getting too Old for this headbanging shit) Motley Crue also rock and for an Encore Motley Crue bought back Motorhead and they played Anarchy in the UK..........Excellent So hopefully by the end of the week I will get my hearing back and I can remove the neckbrace Hahahaha (Comment on this)

10:29 pm	End of College for the year Well I am now half way through my TAFE College course and I have managed to pass all my exams WooHoo Now I start 2 months of Holidays and I start back at College on the 6th of February I am determined to finish my MAME Cab over these holidays but this weekend I am off to the Blackjack concert here in Perth.......Motorhead and Motley Crue are playing It should be Fucking Awesome........ And my New Years resolution is that I will write more in this journal....A bit early I know but who gives a fuck......... Current Mood: happy (Comment on this)

7:10 pm	Its been more than a while......... Today I finished my first term at TAFE College. I had 5 exams to finish the term with and I made them piss....Passed all with flying colours. So now I have a week and a halfs break and I am determined to complete my Mame Cab....All the parts are now here I just have to complete the holes in the control panel. I have put together the computer that is going inside the Cab specs are as follows........ Semperon 2500+ Asus A7V400-MX Motherboard 512MB DDR400 Ram 16x DVD player Radeon 9250 Graphics Card 256MBRAM 80GB Harddrive I know that the specs are a bit high for Mame but I also want to play some PC games on the Cab and use it as a Juke Box. For sound I have decided that I am going to get a Car Amp and some decent speakers all hooked up to a separate PC power supply. I will have to see how it goes. Well today was my first day at TAFE College All we did was sit through an Induction course...but things looked up in the Introduction to Electronic principles class....I actually enjoyed it..... 4:47 pm	Its been a while It has been a while since I up dated so here I go I applied and have been accepted into TAFE College for a 1 year full time course...the course is Certificate 3 of Electro-technology (Small Computer Systems) Seeing as I already fix and build PC's hopefully this course shouldn't be too hard.....Famous last words The course starts on 18th of July....but tomorrow I have to go and meet some people at Mission Australia and hopefully they will pay for this as it is more expensive to do than I thought... Gib and I bought a couple of things on E-bay I bought an arcade bench seat that attaches to a 50" arcade rear projection monitor....I should be able to convert it to a mame setup but I will use a 68cm TV will be interesting to see how it works...It only cost me $40 so what the hell... But first I will have to work on the Cab Gib bought an old Outrun stand up Cab with no board or monitor in it but it will make a nice Mame Cab Thats it for today Current Mood: happy (Comment on this)

9:21 pm	Fucking shit job Slept in until 9:30 so I had to leg it to get my deliveries. Finished it by 6:00pm I am glad that I only do it 2 days a week....... Got home and watched the fourth episode of Dr Who...Fuck me it is getting better and better The rest of the night will be spent surfing the net and I may watch a movie or some retro gaming What an exciting life I have........;) Current Mood: content (Comment on this)

9:08 pm	First Entry Ok then here I am doing my first journal entry Well today I bought a bench chair for a 50 inch arcade game, I don't know what I am going to do with it but it does look cool :) I also Bought an MP3 player for my sons 15th Birthday on Sunday...I hope he likes it..Fuck he is 15.....I am feeling old I am working on my Mame Cab at the moment.... surfing the net for info I found out that ozstick is now getting in a mini-pac so I can hook up the controls to a PC it seems better than an I-pac so I will wait until they have them in stock I don't know what to do with the Monitor should I use the 20" monitor thats in the cab or should I use the spare 19" computer monitor I have....It is the cheaper option...It will cost $200 for the arcade VGA card and VGA amplifier...I will have to think about it........
